Contemporary Mortise & Tenon (Grooved Plank) Door Styles

The benefit of a Mortise & Tenon (Plank) Door Style is that the Mortise & Tenon joinery allows for center panel expansion and contraction. This helps to avoid any potential twisting or warping that can occur with natural changes in the environment, such as moisture levels in the air.

Various styles are available with variations of Stiles/Rails running the full length of the Door, Center Rails, and frame door styles. Choose from any of the compatible profiles and specify grain direction at no additional charge.

Profiles: Use these matching profile combinations to create Grooved Plank Style Doors and Drawer Fronts:

  • SR116 (Stile & Rail Profile) / PR314-06 (Center Panel Profile) / D21 (Outside Edge Profile) or SR149 / PR339-04 profile combinations.
  • SR149 (Stile & Rail Profile) / PR339-04 (Center Panel Profile) / D32 or D51 (Outside Edge Profile)
