2015 Salvation Army Food Drive

This year, WalzCraft’s Salvation Army Food Drive began on November 2nd, 2015 and concluded on November 20th, 2015.

Today WalzCraft, a Wisconsin-based, custom cabinetry components manufacturer, announced the opening of its newly constructed training and education facility and the launch of its comprehensive cabinet refacing training program; the  WalzCraft Cabinet Refacing Training Program.  The dedicated 1000 s.f. facility houses both a classroom and hands-on training lab.  This facility was specifically designed, built, and equipped to teach the craft of cabinet refacing at beginner and advanced levels.

“We believe theWalzCraft Cabinet Refacing Training Programis the first of its kind in North America,” says company president Dick Walz. “The Program was created in response to what we saw as a growing need in the residential remodeling market for a comprehensive and systematic approach to training technicians in the craft of fine cabinet refacing.  Our goal is to provide complete, best-in-class training, integrated with the finest refacing material system available.”

Our Carlton Cabinet Door & Drawer Front design is often a popular fit for new construction and remodel projects, whether high-end kitchens, libraries, or bars. Commercial settings also often call for a design like the Carlton and include offices, reception areas, corporate board rooms & more.

This Applied Molding Cabinet Door & Drawer Front design is shown with Paint Grade Maple Stiles & Rails and MDF Center Panels. The Applied Molding sits on the Inside Edge of the Stile & Rail profile, giving this Signature Series look true depth. Our Woodland Birch Spray No Wipe Stain is an orange to red color that allows much of the natural color and grain of the wood to show through.

Spray No Wipe Stain

Spray No Wipe stains are applied by spraying the material onto the product and allowing it to dry. There is no wiping of the door to remove excess material.

Common Wood Species and Grade combinations when using this stain color:

  • Oak – Red (Select/Premium Grade)

Custom Size Post/Leg (Face Glued Laminated Stock) Availability

All Custom Size Post/Leg products are available in WalzCraft’s standard wood species with a D7 Outside Edge profile only. Layers are laminated from 4/4 solid wood stock, with the number of laminations (or layers) being dependent upon the finished thickness ordered.

Order your Custom Size Post/Leg products Unfinished or Prefinished with any of WalzCraft’s Stain or SolidTone® finish colors. Glazing, Rub Through and Distressing options are also available, with the exception of Flow Pen Glazing. Learn more about WalzCraft’s Finishing Program.
