Butcher Blocks
WalzCraft offers custom Solid Wood Butcher Blocks & Butcher Block Countertops (Order Style #2227) to help you create a functional piece of art for any size kitchen or design layout.
Butcher Blocks are constructed using 4/4 solid wood staves that are face glued. The two outer most staves may vary from ½” wide to 1″ wide to achieve desired finished width. Butcher Blocks offer the benefit of creating a workspace that is not only safe and sanitary but also friendly to all of your kitchen utensils!

Wood Species:
Butcher Block Countertops are available in all of WalzCraft’s standard and exotic solid wood species options as listed in our specifications catalog. Not available in rustic or knotty grades.
Sizes:
Butcher Block Countertops are available in custom sizes up to 48″ in width and 120″ in length. Available in heights/thicknesses of ¾”, 1″, 1½”, 2″, 2½” & 3″. For other heights/thicknesses, please contact our Customer Support Team.
Any size requirements falling outside of these parameters can be submitted as an inquiry as additional design charges may apply.
Outside Edge Profiles:
The Crown Butcher Block Design pattern is only available with a D7 Outside Edge. All of the inside corners of the Crown design will have a 3/8″ radius.
Caring For Your Butcher Block Countertop:
*Please note that WalzCraft does not currently offer Prefinishing for Butcher Block Countertops. It is recommended to seal your Unfinished Butcher Block Countertop with a food safe finish promptly upon receipt of the product.
