Our Melamine Drawer Boxes have a particle board core in a doweled construction while Plywood Drawer Boxes are offered in either a dowel construction with veneer or MDF core or a veneer core nailed construction. These Drawer Box styles allow you to customize the material, thickness and choice of added features such as Notching, Accented Top Edge, Box Patterns and more, while sticking to your project’s budget and still providing a great quality product that will last for years to come.

Melamine Drawer Boxes

Melamine Drawer Boxes are available in a doweled construction with a particle board core. Side walls are available in 1/2″, 5/8″ and 3/4″ thicknesses in either a White, Almond, or Maple Melamine material. For your Environmentally Friendly (“Green”) projects, 1/2″ thick NAUF Melamine material is also available in either White, Almond or Maple. The TE10 Top Edge option utilized on our Melamine Drawer Boxes is constructed with the front and back being 2mm shorter than the sides of the box and is finished with a PVC edgeband.

*NAUF (No Added Urea Formaldehyde): Particleboard material which is specified as “green”. This material is an environmentally preferable product (EPP) and is certified to be 100% recycled wood fiber particleboard and has no added urea formaldehyde added during the manufacturing process.

Plywood Drawer Boxes

Plywood Drawer Boxes are offered in either a doweled or nailed construction. Both constructions are available with 1/2″, 5/8″ and 3/4″ thick side wall material and can be ordered with WalzCraft’s raw TE2 or TE4 Top Edge options, or with our TE11 option – constructed with a wood veneer edgeband. Standard species available include Birch, Cherry, Maple & Oak, with Baltic Birch as an additional alternative. Other with other wood species may be available upon request.
