Eucalyptus - Red Grandis - (Natural / Standard Grade)
Wood: Eucalyptus - Red Grandis
Grade: Natural / Standard

This species is similar to Lyptus. Natural characteristics common within the species are allowed which will result in a mixture of light sap to dark heartwood blended throughout.

In lumber form, burls are abundant, so an occasional burl is not considered a defect.

Special Note About Photosensitive Darkening

Due to the natural photosensitive darkening process that occurs with Cherry, Lyptus, Mahogany and Sapele, we advise that you finish these products immediately upon receiving.

If a color variation transpires, simply exposing the product to direct natural sunlight will help to result in a more even shading. Traces of shadowing (darkening) may be visible, and considered acceptable, on the back sides of product.

Disclaimer for Color

Actual product color and detail may vary due to individual computer preferences and monitor settings. We highly recommend ordering an actual product sample of the species and stain color to eliminate any confusion.

Wood: Eucalyptus - Red Grandis
Grade: Value / Budget

This “Price Point Product” is similar to Lyptus and may contain: narrow staves, sapwood, heartwood, burls and all other natural characteristics commonly found within this species.

This grade will not be color and grain matched, but will be structurally sound and should prove to be a good value for your dollar.

Expect a large range of color throughout the entire order, but slightly less in range than Lyptus.

This grade is most desirable for medium to dark stain colors, but do expect some color variations from stave to stave due to the makeup of the raw material.
