This grade utilizes only MEDEX “Moisture Resistant” MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) material. WalzCraft recommends MDF for painting and for use with our SolidTone ® colors.

MDF is very stable and does not incur the same seasonal expansion and contraction issues that can develop at the joints on hardwood doors, such as hairline cracks. MEDEX has no added urea-formaldehyde (NAUF). Density is approximately 48 lbs per cubic foot (PCF).

WalzCraft Products made using MEDEX are suitable for use in interior high moisture areas only.
