Raw Rub Through

Our RBT200 is considered a light wear through the stain or paint that will expose the MDF or bare wood beneath. Areas of wear will be achieved with a scraper applied to the stiles, rails and center panel of doors. Most products are available with a Rub Through. Wear is not applied to a veneered flat center panel on a door or drawer front or to sheet goods. Exposed areas from a rub through may be left raw, stained or glazed before finishing with a “clear” topcoat.

* Rub Throughs on MDF will not look the same as those on solid wood.

SolidTone® Color

SolidTone® finishes are composed of solid color pigments mixed with topcoat. A coat of primer is applied first. After drying, the product is scuff sanded and receives a coat of solid color.
