Quarter Sawn Natural Plus offers the same refined character as our Oak White Natural Plus grade, with the added appeal of a Quarter Sawn cut. This method involves sawing at right angles to the tree’s growth rings, creating a distinctive ray and flake pattern across the surface. WalzCraft works to provide an even distribution of this figure on the face of the product, though some panel staves and stile and rail parts may display lighter figure or a Rift Sawn, straight grain appearance. For projects requiring bold Quarter Sawn character throughout, see our Heavy Ray/Flake grade. This grade is highly recommended for medium stain colors. Please note that Natural Plus Grade orders do not carry a warranty for color consistency.
