Compact Face Frame Hinges
Salice’s Compact Face Frame Hinges are a one-piece construction hinge style, where no additional mounting plate is required for installation. These hinges are self closing with a 106° opening range, and are completely concealed upon installation. Both the Excentra & Excen-three Hinge Series are of complete steel construction and are nickel plated for corrosion resistance. Both Series are intended to be installed with doors up to 3/4″ in thickness with Face Frame Applications and are available in various overlays.

Long Arm Hinges / Mounting Plates
WalzCraft also offers Salice Series 100 & 200 Hinges, a two-piece hardware construction consisting of a hinge and separate base plate. This Long Arm Hinge style can be applied on Face Frame or Frameless Cabinet Applications and offers Salice’s Clip-On Technology for rapid, precise and secure means of attaching each hinge to the mounting plate. It is the thickness of the base plate that actually determines a hinge’s compatibility for Face Frame or Frameless Applications.
Salice’s 200 Series Long Arm Hinges can be ordered in a 110° or 165° opening choice, and can be ordered with a separate Smove Soft Close shock absorber (plunger).
Salice’s Silentia 100 Series Long Arm Hinges can be ordered with a 105° opening and have an integrated soft close motion that does not require a separate plunger to achieve the soft close motion.
All Long Arm Hinges are self closing and constructed of steel and nickel plating for corrosion resistance. These heavy duty Long Arm Hinges can be ordered with doors up to 7/8″ in thickness and are ANSI/BHMA rated for residential or commercial cabinets. A variety of overlays are available for both Face Frame and Frameless Cabinetry (including inset applications). Pie Corner Long Arm Hinges / Mounting Plates (Door to Door Application)
Salice’s Pie Corner Long Arm Hinges are used to attach one door to another door on a 90° corner cabinet (Lazy Susan Application). A Hinge and Mounting Plate are required for this application, which also offers Salice’s Clip-On Technology for a rapid, precise and secure means of attaching each hinge to the mounting plate. These Pie Corner Hinges are self closing, fully adjustable hinges are made of steel construction with nickel plating for corrosion resistance. A Pie Corner / Lazy Susan Long Arm Hinge can be used with doors up to 7/8″ in thickness and come with a lifetime warranty.

Silentia Series 100 Long Arm Hinges / Mounting Plates with Integrated Soft Close Motion
Silentia Series 100 Long Arm Hinges have an integrated soft close motion built into the hinge. This hinge style does not require a separate Smove Soft Close Shock Absorber (Plunger) to achieve a soft close motion as do Series 200 Hinges. The soft close action begins at the 30° position with a 3 to 5 second close time that is uniform with this hinge style regardless of the cabinet door size.

Smove Soft Close Gentle Closing Device
A widespread trend in the Cabinet Door Hinge industry is the move to soft closing hinges. WalzCraft offers Salice’s Smove Soft Close shock absorber (plunger) as an add on feature to any hinge style. As a door is shut, a shock absorber (Smove Plunger) provides a soft, gentle closing action, ultimately avoiding much of the wear and tear that naturally occurs from the slamming action of a door over a period of time.
Salice’s Smove Soft Close feature requires only one plunger per cabinet door and attaches easily to the cabinet frame using wood screws (sold separately). Adjustable tension controls closing speed for varying door sizes and weights. Offer Salice’s Smove Soft Close option as an add on to your next Face Frame or Frameless cabinetry project. Hinge & Hardware Screws
WalzCraft offers #6 Flat Head Phillips (FHP) Screws that sit flush in a recessed hole and do not penetrate into the wood. These screws are 5/8″ in height and are sold in packs of 100 or 1,000 pieces.
Alternatively, you may wish to purchase #10 Pan Head Phillips (PHP) Screws, which can be used to attach Excentra Hinges to the cabinet Face Frame. These are sold in packs of 100 pieces only.

WalzCraft can prep your cabinet doors with hinge boring for all of our available Salice Door Hinge Hardware. Other Hinge Bore Patterns & Options are available, including those compatible with most Blum & Grass hinges. WalzCraft suggests taking into consideration the questions below to allow for efficient cabinet door hardware orders:
Determine the Type of Cabinet – Face Frame or Frameless
Face Frame – Choose One-Piece Compact Face Frame Hinge or Two-Piece Long Arm Hinge/Mounting Plate
- One-Piece Compact Face Frame Hinge (106° degree opening only)
- Choose Overlay
- Choose method for attaching hinge to door.
- Two-Piece Long Arm Hinge – Face Frame or Frameless Application (Choose Degree of Opening, 110° or 165°, or Silentia 105°)
- Choose Overlay (Mounting Plate is determined by overlay).
- Choose method for attaching hinge to door.
Frameless - (Two-Piece Long Arm Hinge Only)
- Choose Degree of Opening (110° or 165°, or Silentia 105°).
- Choose Overlay (Mounting Plate is decided for you).
- Choose method for attaching hinge to door.
Prior to placing any Cabinet Door Hinge order, please also make sure to check the Minimum Required Gap* as labeled in WalzCraft’s online specifications catalog (differs between hinge models and overlays).
*Minimum Required Gap = Distance required to open a 3/4″ thick door 90º without hitting an adjacent door or wall (differs between hardware models).
