Pressure Sensitive (PSA) 3D Laminate RTF

3D Laminate Thermofoil Veneer with a 3M Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) applied to the back. This “peel and stick” thermofoil is often cut into thin strips and then applied to cabinet face frames.  The ease of use of PSA 3D Laminate Thermofoils make them a popular choice in 3D Lamine RTF refacing projects.

While the PSA backing gives this veneer some rigidity, it is not recommended when you are laminating larger surfaces. When laminating larger surface, like cabinet end panels, WalzCraft recommends using our 3D Laminate RTF Veneer with a Phenolic Back.

When installing this PSA 3D Laminate (RTF) it is critical that pressure is applied with a veneer smoothing tool for proper adhesion. This securing process eliminates the need for nails, resulting in no nail holes to fill. WalzCraft does recommend that a solvent based or water based contact cement be used on the substrate for this product application.

WalzCraft does offer a Veneer Smoothing Tool made of a beveled plexiglass blade that will not scratch veneer products during installation.
