Corbels

View Wood Corbels in our Online Catalog

Corbels historically served a primary architectural purpose of supporting ceilings, beams, and shelves. These decorative, yet functional supports typically project out from a wall in an upward direction and often have very elaborate decorative detailing.

With time, these decorative brackets have transformed into an array of varying styles, sizes, and functions, often times physically serving as both a support and decorative piece, while in other applications simply appearing as support and having only an aesthetic purpose.

Corbel Availability & Applications

WalzCraft offers an assortment of wood Corbels including many sizes and designs ranging from Classical to Contemporary. Each Corbel design shown in our catalog specifications above will offer a list of available wood species for that specific design, along with a Width x Depth x Height dimension and corresponding part numbers.

Our range of available Corbel options has been hand selected by WalzCraft’s team to assist you with many custom woodworking scenarios. You will find that some of WalzCraft’s Range Hoods are designed to incorporate your Corbel design of choice. Of course, many other cabinetry and furniture applications also call for Corbels, such as when serving as countertop & shelf supports, along with adding a decorative look to cabinet filler pieces and more.
