Curved Cabinet Door with Applied Molding S549 Carlton

The S549 Carlton Signature Series convex door highlights the intricate details that can be incorporated into curved cabinet doors. The raised panel is complimented with an applied molding frame, and a tiered outside edge profile. When using applied molding doors on a project, adding a matching curved door can create a totally custom look and feel to the project. Curved products are gaining popularity in vanities, curio cabinets, dressers, corner cabinets in kitchens, and many other custom projects.

The Carlton door is constructed with the square SR100 Traditional Stile and Rail profile with the 102 applied molding. All of WalzCraft’s convex and concave doors are built using state-of-the-art technology and equipment. The rails are custom laminated using solid wood material, and the stiles and center panel are constructed with solid wood staves. As the leader in the industry, WalzCraft offers the most standard offerings for profile choices, door styles, radii, and wood species. Along with raised panel doors and drawer fronts, WalzCraft also offers curved moldings, drawer boxes, frame and mullion doors, crown, and both square and beaded face frames. WalzCraft can even prefit inset doors and drawer fronts to face frames. All of these products are available at incredibly competitive prices!

The S549 Carlton is shown with a raised panel drawer front. As with all Signature Series Designs, the drawer front style can be modified to better suit the needs of the project. The door and drawer front pictured are constructed of Natural/Standard Grade Cherry with a Java Combination stain. This wood species, grade, and finish combination is one of WalzCraft’s Approximate Melamine & Laminate Matches. This means several popular Melamine, Laminate, and PVC Edgebanding colors approximately match the color of this door. Using wood species and stain combinations with approximate melamine matches allows cabinet makers to order the cabinet doors, moldings, and other wood components prefinished and build their cabinet boxes with the matching melamine.

6/2011 – Arched Top Applied Molding Cabinet Door

Applied Molding Arch Cabinet Doors from WalzCraftThe S646 Brushton applied molding cabinet door offers a truly unique style. The sophisticated look of the applied molding is accentuated by applying it to an arched top rail, while the square profiles and flat panel keep this door true to the craftsman style door. This door is an excellent choice for projects utilizing a Craftsman and Prairie Style, but where a more detailed design is desired.

WalzCraft offers more applied molding options than any other custom cabinet door manufacturer. Some of these moldings can even be applied to arched top doors, providing customers more flexibility in their designs. The S646 Brushton combines the SR135 traditional stile and rail profile with the crisp 1770 applied molding. Using this applied molding for cabinet doors can help differentiate a project from others that use more basic flat panel cabinet doors.

The drawer front shown incorporates matching profiles and reduced rail sizes; however, any drawer front style can be ordered with this Signature Series door.

Walnut cabinet doors from WalzCraft are available in several grades. The S646 Brushton is shown in Natural/Standard grade Walnut with a wiping Medium Brown Walnut stain. As with all Signature Series Designs, the Brushton can be ordered using any WalzCraft wood species and finish (or unfinished).
